The original marble statue, better known as the Nike of Samothrace, dates from the second century BC and has been on display in the French museum since 1884. The statue depicts Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. The creator is unknown.
This is a replica statue in solid composite stone, a solid statue on a matching pedestal.
